What’s on in February

Welcoming longer days whilst there is still a nip in the air. The Glaven Caring bus – newly refurbished - has been busy picking up clients in 2026. February brings events, quizzes and our regular activities.

Friday 6 February - Caring for the Carers  - 10am to 12 noon - meet up with other carers and our local Social worker who is happy to answer your questions.  Join us for coffee.  Do bring your loved ones with you but best to call first so we know.

Tuesday 17 February – Pancake Day treats – celebrate Shrove Tuesday in style with our special pancake menu, £10 two courses

Thursday 19 February  - Board Games & Chat meet 10am to 12 noon – experienced and novice players welcome

Thursday 19 February – Chinese New Year Lunch – our delicious Chinese special – book in advance as always popular! £10 , two courses

Tuesday Coffee and Chat mornings and raffle 10.00 to 12 noon  - donations please.

Quiz Night at the Glaven - 7pm to 10pm. £5 per head for teams of up to six people. BYO drinks and your wallet for raffle tickets! Book your team in at the office as only 7 teams allowed.
