September news … and thanks!

 Lots happening after a glorious summer.  All welcome at our day care centre for the elderly in Blakeney. Run by our team and volunteers for the local community. New this month is the Bridge Club - every Tuesday evening - see below

Happy Mondays, join us for lunch - two courses for just £8.00 – every Monday, do book early to avoid disappointment

Monday Knit and Natter – 10am to 12 noon – we are knitting and crocheting our Seal mascots which we will sell to raise funds for our client activities and trips out. Please do help us!

 Tuesday Coffee, Cake and Cards with raffle 10.00 to 12 noon - donations please for delicious teas and coffees   - every Tuesday

 Thursday Chatty Café – ‘chatter and natter’ - pop over for a friendly chat every Thursday from 3rd September, 10am to 12 noon

 Caring for the Carers coffee, chat and lots of advice from other carers, our team and a representative from Social Services - 10am to 12 noon first Friday of the month, 4th September. Our social worker will also be on hand to answer your questions on 15th September

 Board Games & Chat – 18th September - 10am to 12 noon – coffee, chat, chess, and more.  Free to attend and all levels welcome - every third Friday of the month

 New Bridge Club –  every Tuesday evening – 6pm to 8pm – at the Glaven Centre. Tables for both experienced players and learning players.

 Would you like to drive our bus? Volunteer bus drivers welcome, please contact us if you are interested for one or two shifts a month

A big thank you to all who supported our coffee and teas stall at the Langham Street Fayre. Your cakes and savouries were a sell out and we made over £1000 for Glaven Caring
